Dr. Miranda Massari has been a Professor at the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico for 25 years, specializing in pharmacognosy and botanical medicine.He holds a Doctorate in Clinical Pharmacy from the Philadelphia University of the Sciences and completed a post-doctorate in Clinical Pharmacokinetics at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill. He also earned a Post-Doctoral Fellowship Certificate in Botanical Medicine from the Association for the Advancement of Restorative Medicine (AARM).

He has authored over 150 articles published in renowned scientific and medical journals and is among the most read and cited scientific authors at his institution. He has also written two published books on cancer.In 2014, he was inducted into the Puerto Rico Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Ibero-American Academy of Sciences and Culture.In 2016, he became the first Hispanic to be inducted into the Hall of Fame of the International Society for Orthomolecular Medicine in Vancouver, Canada.
