On this occasion, Dr. Joanna Frey interviewed Dr. Rosalina Valcárcel, a pediatrician with more than 30 years of experience. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health, served as Director of the Division of Mothers, Children, and Adolescents at the Department of Health, and has extensive experience in administrative orders developed within the health sector.
Dr. Valcárcel clearly and precisely explains how the management of COVID-19, inoculation, and the government-mandated use of masks can affect the mental, physiological, and emotional health of our children.
Many thanks to Dr. Valcárcel for her great contribution to our Hispanic community.
“The function of education is to enable us to sift and weigh evidence, to discern the true from the false, the real from the unreal, and facts from fiction. The function of education, therefore, is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.”—Martin Luther King Jr.
Imposing or inflicting ways of thinking and acting, suppressing individual and community rights, hiding objective and relevant evidence, and dividing a population through ideologies that discriminate, generate discord, and fail to solve problems have led to increases in depression, suicides, and psychological trauma in children and adults.
These are not the tools and strategies used in systems that promote truth, justice, order, and health.
In health, Dr. Joanna Frey
